Former library leader gets 7 years for theft 
  
ALBANY - The former president of the Rensselaerville Town Library will spend
up to seven years behind bars.

David Bryan was sentenced Monday morning in Albany County Court. He stole
more than $300,000 from four non-profit organizations, including the library
and the Rensselaervile Trinity Church.

Bryan apologized during his sentencing.

"I can't say enough to how remorseful I am about this whole situation. I
worked with people all my life to help them out and I feel bad that I let
them down. I let my students down," he said.

The sentencing term was part of a plea agreement.

The judge told Bryan his actions were unexplainable.
