ORNAMENTS worth more than £4,000 have been stolen from a Leamington house.

A thief got in through a window of a house in Northumberland Avenue at about
2am yesterday and stole a bronze sculpture by Bergman entitled On a Windy
Day and worth £1,400. It depicts a dancing girl in a hinged skirt and is
signed Namreb.

A number of Lalique glass figures which are signed on the base Lalique
France and are worth a total of £3,000 were also taken.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the
vicinity or has any information about the offenders or the stolen goods.
