A pair of stolen slippers once worn by Indian royalty have been found.
The lavishly jewelled shoes were taken from the Bata Shoe Museum on Bloor
St. West in January.

Police say they've recovered the slippers and have arrested one man.

Thirty-five-year-old Filip Djukic is charged with possession of property
obtained by crime.

The slippers, valued at $160,000, were stolen along with two other 18th
Century artifacts: a gold toe ring, valued at $11,000 and a gold anklet
valued at $45,000.

The slippers were worn by the Nizam Sikandar Jah of Hyderabad during his
rule from 1803 to 1829.

The arrest comes a day after Toronto police released photographs snapped at
the Drake Hotel that featured two women they called "persons of interest."

One of the pictures, which were taken five days after the theft, also
featured part of a man's face.
