Police said the 1929 Stefano Scarampella violin was stolen from a Hilliard
hotel lobby on June 25.
Bossert, the violin's owner, was in Columbus to play at the wedding of one
of her students.
According to Bossert, police told her they found the violin in the men's
bathroom inside the hotel, above the ceiling tiles.
Hilliard police would not confirm where the violin was found.
A $3,000 reward was offered for the return of the instrument, NBC 4
reported.
