$10,000 sculpture stolen from art gallery

The owner of an art gallery in Auckland says the theft of a sculpture 
worth $10,000 was a brazen act.

The 10kg stainless steel structure by artist Ray Haydon was taken 
from Sanderson Contemporary Art in Parnell on Tuesday.

The gallery owner was hosting a staff Christmas function when the 
theft took place. Kylie Sanderson says this is the second theft at 
the gallery in a month.

She is offering a reward for the recovery of the sculpture.
