Antique Center hit by burglars

QUECHEE, Vermont Police are investigating the theft of a significant amount
of jewelry, rare coins and gold bullion from the Quechee Gorge Village
Antique Center.

Two dealers at the center said most their collections were stolen.

Tim Puro, president of Puro's Coins and Jewelry, said the thieves knew what
they were looking for. He said a door was kicked in on Wednesday, and the
two showcases nearest to the door pries open and cleaned out.
