Dear Ton:
If you would, please change "Asian Near Eastern art and archaeology" and
"Asian Near Eastern Galleries" to "Ancient Near Eastern art and archaeology"
and "Ancient Near Eastern Galleries" in the SAFE posting from Beth
Edelstein. I'm terribly sorry for the stupid mistake. So, the listing should
be :

SAFE | Saving Antiquities for Everyone presents a new series of SAFE tours
to benefit the rebuilding of the Iraq Museum. The first tour will take place
at 10:15 am on Saturday, June 4 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New
York, and will be led by Dr. Oscar Muscarella. Dr. Muscarella has been
involved in the study of Ancient Near Eastern art and archaeology for
decades. A prolific author, he has extensive excavation experience in Turkey
and Iran and has long been involved in plunder and forgery issues. He will
lead a group through the Ancient Near Eastern Galleries and discuss how the
objects got there.
The Iraq Museum Benefit tours are presented in conjunction with the
publication of The Looting of the Iraq Museum, Baghdad: the lost legacy of
Ancient Mesopotamia, edited by Milbry Polk and Angela M H Schuster (Harry N.
Abrams).

Fee: $30/person (20% discount for SAFE members). To support our effort, the
Metropolitan Museum of Art will waive the museum admission fee. 50% of all
proceeds will be donated to Iraq,s State Board of Antiquities and Heritage,
for the rebuilding of the Iraq Museum. To make your reservation or to learn
more about SAFE Tours, visit our website at:

Keep an eye on our website for upcoming tours in the Iraq Museum Benefit !
Series. All tours are led by experts in the field, including contributors
to The Looting of the Iraq Museum, Baghdad: the lost legacy of Ancient
Mesopotamia.

Much obliged,

Cindy Ho
