Autoridades que dejaron inaugurado ayer el XXVII Encuentro Nacional de
Directores de Museos “Jujuy 2005”, en el teatro Mitre.  
 
 Bajo la consigna de “Preservación y Conservación del Patrimonio Cultural en
Riesgo”, se procedió ayer a la apertura del XXVII Encuentro Nacional de
Directores de Museos “Jujuy 2005”, acto que tuvo lugar en el Teatro Mitre.
Estas jornadas se extenderán hasta este sábado.
De la ceremonia tomaron parte el secretario de Cultura y Turismo de la
Provincia, Jorge Noceti, acompañado por el presidente de la Asociación de
Directores de Museos de la Republica Argentina (ADiMRA), Carlos Bairon; la
coordinadora de Patrimonios y Museos, Cristina Jorge; y la directora del
Museo Arqueológico Provincial y delegada de ADiMRA en Jujuy, Flavia
Santesso. Tras la entonación de las estrofas del Himno Nacional Argentino
por parte de los concurrentes, las palabras de apertura estuvieron a cargo
de la museóloga Flavia Santesso, a quien le siguió en el uso de la palabra
el licenciado Bairon y finalmente se dirigió a los presentes la Coordinadora
de Patrimonios y Museos. En esta primera parte de la programación se
presentó también la disertación la embajadora Susana Pataro sobre el tema
“Patrimonio en riesgo ante conflicto armado” y luego junto a demás
especialistas deliberaron sobre la situación de los museos y los bienes
culturales.

PROTEGER LOS 
BIENES CULTURALES
Finalizado el acto, el Presidente de ADiMRA señaló que en esta ocasión “los
temas que se abordará son de gran significado para todos los directores de
museos” y puso en relieve que para esta edición “se contará con la presencia
de especialistas llegados de Buenos Aires, quienes deliberarán sobre
Patrimonio en Riesgo, es decir sobre la desidia de quienes tienen a su cargo
estas instituciones”, apuntó.
Remarcó luego el licenciado Carlos Bairon que “estos riesgos también están
ligados a las situaciones climáticas, conflictos armados y robos con
intención de venta, los cuales se suceden en todo el territorio nacional” y
en en este contexto valoró la presencia de integrantes de Interpol
Argentina, la embajadora Susana Pataro y autoridades de la Aduana, quienes
“tienen a su cargo los controles sobre las obras de arte o patrimoniales que
salen del país, para luego ser vendidas en el exterior”.
Por otra parte, el entrevistado indicó que “el trabajo de los directores
adquiere mucha importancia, sobre todo si se tiene en cuenta que la función
pasa por conducirlos y protegerlos” y no dudó en sostener que “a partir de
este encuentro surgirán nuevos proyectos, no obstante ello actualmente se
están ejecutando algunos proyectos a cargo de instituciones intermedias”,
subrayó el licenciado Bairon.

PATRIMONIO 
EN RIESGO
También entrevistado el oficial principal Marcelo El Haibe de Interpol
Argentina, adelantó que en su intervención en este XXVII Encuentro Nacional
de Directores de Museos le corresponderá abordar el tema “Tráfico
Internacional de Bienes Culturales” “ya sea de origen ilegal -explicó-, o
por robo obtenido a través de las excavaciones en los yacimientos, que son
dos vertientes bastante importantes como el saqueo y por otro lado el robo a
los museos”.
Al mismo tiempo el especialista hizo notar su concepto de que el trabajo que
llevan adelante con los directores de museos “es importante, y básicamente
consiste en la notificación a esa institución cuando se produce un hecho
delictuoso, de manera de poseer mayores posibilidades de recuperarlo”.
Apuntó El Haibe que “el tráfico de bienes culturales va en aumento como
cualquier otro tipo de delito, pero en este caso de la provincia de Jujuy,
la cual cuenta con una gran cantidad de yacimientos, es un problema grave y
algo que no se ve en otras provincias, es decir con capacidad suficiente
para proveer a museos del exterior”. Detalló finalmente el enviado de
Interpol que la actividad en esta zona “es importante en cuanto a la
obtención de esos objetos, es por ello que la política apunta a protegerlos
e instrumentar medidas de protección a los yacimientos”, concluyó.
Por su parte, la profesora Jorge se mostró entusiasmada por la concurrencia
de directores de todo el país en este XXVII Encuentro, al tiempo que recordó
que anteriormente nuestra Provincia también fue sede de esta convocatoria en
el año 2001.
Destacó la funcionaria que “para esta edición las expectativas son grandes y
se espera poder conseguir buenos resultados”, es por ello que desde su punto
de vista “adquiere una enorme relevancia la presencia de Interpol y Aduana,
a través de sus integrantes, quienes detallarán las cuestiones sobre leyes”
inherentes a la temática museológica.
