The Scandal That Will Bring Down The Evil House of Aboutaam
After this weekend... All will be revealed!!!

UPDATE: 25-2-2005
WORLD-BREAKING NEWS

MvR.nl is proud to announce that 'honourable' Martin Schøyen's illicit
dealings were first exposed on this portal. The exposure prompted the
prestigious Norwegian television channel NRK to investigate his activities,
and this combined effort resulted in the estocada for Schøyen, who had,
until then, presented himself to the art world as a 'Saint' saviour of
endangered manuscripts. When our Norwegian troll had the nerve to market his
mainly looted collection for the sum of $110 million, your inkslinger
decided to give this entrepreneur bus clippie the rocky ride of his life. As
it stands today, our Norwegian looter is seen for the war-torn heritage
looter that he is, and will have no other option but to give his collection
back to the indigenous people and countries it was stolen from.

This portal has cost Schøyen $110 million, shamed and branded him for the
rest of his miserable life.

The latest news from the north is that the Norwegian Media Ethics Board (the
PFU) has rejected all of Martin Schøyen's complaints against two
documentaries challenging the legitimacy of his huge collection of
catalogued antiquities.

State broadcaster NRK's programmes, broadcast in September 2004, were based
on two years of thorough research with the cream of the crop being the
archives of your inkslinger. The guilt was enhanced considerably by the
bus-millionaire's increasingly erratic behaviour as he saw his $110 million
collection becoming a hot potato. First, he handed over his crooked Rihani
export license so it could be thoroughly rubbished by a couple of
journalists with sharper eyes than HM Customs and the Met Art & Antiques
Squad.

Schøyen responded by trying to make all his references to Rihani's
fraudulent paperwork disappear from his catalogue on the National Library of
Norway's web site. The library, which was hoping to inherit most of the
collection if it was bought by the Norwegian government, stated that it
wouldn't list any of his collection without good provenance. That should
free up some web space -- there are no genuine provenances.

Then, Schøyen handed the Buddhist scrolls stolen from the Kabul Museum over
to UNESCO and gave the manuscripts looted from Gilgit back to the Pakistani
Ambassador. This was a bit like saying, "I'm changing my plea to guilty" and
made the PFU verdict almost inevitable. For the sake of Oslo commuters,
MvR.nl hopes Schøyen is better at running a bus company.
