Fake Sales Earn Man Prison Sentence

A Fairport man whill spend 10 years in prison for selling more than $500,000
worth of counterfeit art online. 

William Yager, 55, was accused of selling fake works of art by Edgar Degas
and Willem de Kooning. Authorities found more than 40 pieces of knockoff
art. 

The fake pieces have been found as far away as Japan. Yager is a painter,
and owned a gallery in Rochester.
