Aduana informa sobre contrabando de obras de arte peruanas

Pinturas y esculturas son del siglo XVII, XVII y comienzos del XIX
 En nuestra edición de ayer informábamos que Funcionarios de la Aduana de
San Antonio detectaron un importante contrabando de obras de arte
patrimoniales provenientes de Perú, las que venían al interior de un
contenedor con menaje de casa.
 Al respecto, el Servicio de Aduanas ha informado que el descubrimiento se
llevó a cabo luego de una revisión de rutina de acuerdo al sistema de
gestión de riesgo, en el que los fiscalizadores de Aduanas detectaron
irregularidades en la documentación y la presencia de algunos 17 bultos no
declarados, los que contenían pinturas y esculturas.
 Como Aduanas trabaja coordinadamente con servicios de inteligencia
internacionales, pidió la asesoría de un curador de obras de arte que
trabaja para la INTERPOL, el que revisó las obras y determinó que son
auténticas y que tienen carácter patrimonial, ya que poseen valor histórico
artístico.
 Los objetos (8 pinturas religiosas al óleo sobre tela, 11 esculturas y 3
atriles de altar, además de una vinajera y fragmentos pertenecientes a
retablos) corresponderían a los siglos XVII, XVII y comienzos del XIX y
provienen de la zona andina (Cusco, Arequipa y entorno del lago Titicaca).
 Aduanas puso los antecedentes a disposición de la Embajada de Perú en
Santiago y formalizó la querella ante la fiscalía local del Ministerio
Público de San Antonio. 
 El Servicio Nacional de Aduanas, como encargado de fiscalizar las
mercancías que entran y salen del país, tiene un especial énfasis en la
protección de los bienes patrimoniales (antropológicos, arqueológicos,
pa-leontológicos, históricos o artísticos) de Chile y de otros países.
 Tratándose del ingreso de mercancía protegida, normalmente ésta proviene de
un robo en el país de origen –a algún museo o colección privada- que es
ingresada en forma oculta, con el objetivo de comercializarla en el país de
forma privada o en remates de carácter internacional.

XIX and come from the Andean zone (Cusco, Arequipa and surroundings of the
Titicaca lake).
Customs put the antecedents to disposition of the Embassy of Peru in
Santiago and formalized the complaint before the local office of the public
prosecutor of the Public Ministry of San Antonio.
The National Service of Customs, like in charge to control the merchandise
that enter and leave the country, has a special emphasis in the protection
of the properties inherited from parents (anthropological, archaeological,
paleontological, historical or artistic) of Chile and other countries.
Being the entrance of protected merchandise, normally this one comes from a
